Vilis Cafe Commemorate Mural To Vili Milisits

What an amazing opportunity to capture such an incredible man who was so greatly loved by his family and devoted staff. I could feel his enthusiasm for life through his expression and hope that I have captured his passion for all to share. What a wonderful and caring man, what a great honour this was! Featured on Secret Adelaide and mural locations at Cafe De Vili’s Mile End and Vili’s Cafe Elizabeth.

Iconic Movie Themed Popart Murals

These hand painted murals are 5 x 2.9 metres each. The surface of this wall was certainly a challenge to create a smooth result when doing portraits.

Night Drive

11 metres off the ground, 35 metres long and 6 metres high, 3 rows of scaffolding. This mural was hand painted with a huge amount of attention to detail. At night the stars illuminate under neon lights for added effect. An exciting project with a relaxing and uplifting colour pallet.

City Skyline

35 meters of black and white city skyline behind a painted rail fence. A modern mix of dimensions, this piece is purely designed as the backdrop to create a popart effect using the cars as the focal point. These tones enhance the colour of the cars with great intensity and creates a bold impact.

Be Bold

I like to experiment with colours and textures to help create the feeling of movement. I have used the metallic gold acrylic paint and gold leaf as a strong contrast against the black to create impact and the illusion of elevation to the horses movement. Horses have the ability to move with such rhythm, grace and immense power and I wanted to capture it.
