As a child I loved being busy, so I often helped my Father sand car parts. His passion was restoring Vintage Cars and Motorbikes and I loved witnessing the makeover process. I was quite young when I started riding motorbikes and grew up as a complete tomboy. So today, the sound of V8s transports me back to those times and while my sketches and paintings of cars and motorbikes build layer by layer, it reminds me of the restoration process as the transformation is similar to the reveal of the makeover.
